📷 How does receipt capture work?
You can snap a photo with your Camera, pick from your Photo Library, import a PDF file from the Files app, or share any image/PDF directly into Efzin using the native iOS Share sheet. Gemini Vision AI automatically parses the merchant, amount in EUR, and purchase date.
✨ How do I configure Google Gemini AI?
In Efzin Settings, paste your free Google AI Studio key. The key is securely stored in your device’s hardware Keychain (kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly). Requests are sent directly from your iPhone to Google's HTTPS endpoint with zero intermediary logging.
📬 Is Multi-Inbox email discovery safe?
Yes. Efzin queries only the past 30 days of messages for receipt keywords across Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP. Full message bodies are processed transiently and discarded immediately. No full email bodies or attachments are ever persisted on our servers, and every transaction requires your explicit review before being added.
☁️ How do iCloud Backups work?
Efzin backs up your reminders, transactions, and attached receipt images directly to your personal Apple iCloud Private Database (iCloud.gr.plenum.efzin). Plenum has zero visibility or access to this private database.
📱 What are the system requirements?
Efzin is built natively for iOS 26 and later, running on compatible iPhone and iPad devices.
🗑️ How do I delete my data or account?
Open Efzin → Settings → Delete Efzin Account. This permanently removes your backend session, encrypted tokens, local files, and CloudKit records in one operation.
