1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Plenum (“Plenum”, “we”, “us”) concerning your access to and use of the Covered mobile application on iOS and Android, as well as associated services and websites.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Covered, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use or install Covered.

2 App Purpose & Organizational Role

Covered is a personal productivity, warranty tracking, and digital vault application designed to help individuals record purchase receipts, compute expiration periods, organize digital transit/parking barcodes, and receive reminder notifications.

Important Clarification: Covered is exclusively an organization and reminder software tool. Covered and Plenum are NOT manufacturers, retailers, insurance underwriters, or warranty grantors. Recording a receipt or warranty in Covered does not create an independent warranty from Plenum.

3 In-App Purchases, Covered Pro & Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Covered may offer optional auto-renewable premium subscription plans (“Covered Pro”) providing unlimited AI receipt scans, cloud backups, and advanced custom alerts.

4 AI-Assisted Processing & User Verification

Covered incorporates optical character recognition (OCR) and Google Gemini Vision models to assist in transcribing dates, prices, and merchant information from receipts.

Because photo quality, lighting, and merchant formatting vary, AI-generated transcriptions are provided as automated suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all transcribed fields (especially expiration dates) prior to saving records in the app.

5 User Conduct & Account Security

You agree not to:

• Use Covered for any illegal purpose or to store fraudulent, forged, or unlawful documents.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the mobile applications.
• Abuse or overload the AI scanning API with automated scripts or non-receipt payloads.

6 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Covered is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Plenum expressly disclaims any warranty that notification alerts will never fail due to operating system battery optimization or network delays.

In no event shall Plenum, its founders, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including missed warranty claims, lost receipts, or expired passes) arising from your use of the application.

7 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from or related to Covered shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and the European Union, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles.

8 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notices or on our website. Your continued use of Covered after changes take effect constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
